Memberships for Families and Children

Grand Rapids Public Museum

Grand Rapids Children’s Museum

John Ball Zoo

Lions, tigers, and bears oh my!  See them all and so much more when you become a member at John Ball Zoo.  John Ball makes a great membership for those of all ages who enjoy observing animals.  Members receive admission for one year as well as free or reduced admission to over 150 zoos in North America.  As a member, you will also enjoy 20% off retail, food, and beverage purchases.  Camps, special events, ropes courses, and the zip line are all also discounted for members.  There are six different membership levels as well as add-on options so you can customize your membership to your family’s needs.  Your contribution of membership helps fund the care of the animals that are in the zoo and helps sustain conservation efforts both here and abroad.  This is a great option for a family membership in Grand Rapids.

Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts

If you enjoy the contemporary arts, then this is the membership for you.  The Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts consists of art galleries filled with thought-provoking works of art.  The UICA also hosts many events throughout the year including gallery talks, concerts, performance art, and other programs.  Memberships to the UICA are free of charge, however, they do require you to sign up to take part in all that membership offers.

Tree Runner Adventure Park
