1. House of Wine

Visit the House of Wine and try the GR Bucket List All-Inclusive Wine Tasting Experience! Unwind from your day at this centrally located wine bar, just steps away from the heart of Grand Rapids. Here you will indulge in an exclusive wine tasting and charcuterie experience created for you by the GR Bucket List.

House of Wine is a family-owned wine bar and retail shop with over 300 unique wines from all over the world. Enjoy 2 wine flights (4 samples per person), a friendly SA guide, and a hearty sharable charcuterie board (fruit or meat) to snack on while you indulge in the vast world of wine.

2. Reserve Wine Bar

Located right in downtown Grand Rapids, Reserve prides itself on farm-to-table cuisine and an excellent wine selection. They offer over 900 different wines from all around the world including France, Italy, California, and more. These wines can be purchased by the glass or the bottle.

Reserve also has a monthly wine club which you can join for a fee. They offer two different options- The Enthusiast and the Vault- both of which come with wine each month, pairing ideas, and tasting notes.

3. Raise a Glass Wine Tour

Raise a Glass Wine Tours offers wine tasting experiences throughout Grand Rapids. These tours provide a great upscale experience perfect for wine lovers and foodies! These tours are perfect for a girl’s night out, couples date night, or a larger group event. Raise a Glass offers various package options including a Couples Weekend Wine Getaway, Birthday package, Girls Night Out package, Bachelorette Party package and so much more! All of the tours come with 8 different wine tastings, a small food plate at each, transportation, and a wine tour guide.

The GR Bucket List has partnered with Raise a Glass Wine Tours to bring you an All-Inclusive Private Couples Wine, Food, and Culture tour of Grand Rapids! This exclusive tour includes 8 different wine tastings paired with small plates at each location. 4. Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery

Robinette’s may be a family favorite known for its cider and donuts but they also offer a fully operational winery right on their property. They produce their own wine and hard cider on site. Robinette’s has a spacious tasting room that offers more than 20 Michigan-made wines ready to satisfy your inner wino. They also experiment with fruit wines such as Cranberry, Apple, Blueberry, and two of our most popular wines, Passionate Peach Spumante and Chocolate! 

5. Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant

Cooper’s Hawk takes pride in creating amazing wines that begin in the vineyard. They have a team and winemaker that travels the globe in search of the very best grapes. They source from Chile, France, California, Washington, and many other wine grape-producing regions. This makes for some of the best wine in the Grand Rapids area!

Cooper’s Hawk Winery has a dining and tasting room just southeast of the city in the Kentwood area. They also offer a wine club which you can join –here.

6. GRNoir Wine & Jazz

GRNoir, located right in the middle of downtown Grand Rapids, combines the global culture of wine and mixes it together with the American culture of jazz music. They put a value on offering a rich variety of wines including international, Black-owned, and women-made wines.

They offer several tasting options including public tastings that gather guests at a communal table to enjoy a wine tasting experience. The other option is a virtual private tasting which is scheduled in advance and conducted by their Sommelier via Zoom.

7. Aperitivo

Located within the Downtown Market, Aperitivo offers a unique wine tasting experience right inside this bustling marketplace. They offer a variety of wines and have a full-service charcuterie counter which offers various meats and cheeses perfect to go with any wine selection. You can choose to try wine by the glass, bottle, or wine tasting flight.

8. Forty Pearl

Forty Pearl is the essential Pure Michigan wine experience right downtown. Their mission is to showcase the finest Michigan wines by pairing them with amazing food. Forty Pearl offers a variety of wines including Michigan whites and reds. These can be tried by the glass, bottle, or in one of their curated wine flight package options.

9. Divani

Located on Ionia Street, Divini offers a unique wine tasting experience full of mellow ambiance, exposed brick, and of course, lots and lots of wine. In 2018, they received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, which means their wine selection is among the best of the best. Not only do they offer amazing wine options but they have a great food menu including Charcuterie board, Filet, Shrimp Bisque and so much more.

10. MDRD

MDRD (pronounced Madrid) is located on the top of the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Here you will find delectable Spanish food, amazing views of the city and Grand River, and a great place to sip on a glass of wine. MDRD offers a variety of wines by the glass or by the bottle. Enjoy a glass at the bar which has a stunning view of the river below.
