Amway Grand Plaza Hotel: Curio Collection by Hilton

Located on Monroe Ave in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel is owned by Amway Corporation and is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton. This stunning hotel property has two different hotel towers to stay in, the traditional Plantlind Tower which dates back to the early 1900s, and the more modern tower which was recently remodeled. The Amway Grand Plaza offers over 650 rooms from modest to luxury! Some of the rooms have amazing views of the Grand River below and others have magnificent city views.

The Amway Grand Plaza hotel also has several dining options onsite, including the top level restaurant MDRD which offers modern spanish food overlooking the Grand River. They also offer large banquet facilities perfect for weddings, meetings, and gatherings of every size in-between.

Pro Tip: Make sure to spend some time in the historic Pantline Lobby which dates back to 1913 and has some truly amazing features including several beautiful chandeliers!

The JW Marriott sits on the banks of the Grand River, offering amazing views, upscale amenities, and walking distance to many of the downtown Grand Rapids attractions. One of the newest hotels in downtown Grand Rapids, Canopy by Hilton, is located on one of the city’s best bar-hopping streets, Ionia. Just steps away from great places to eat and drink, plus great accommodations, you really can’t go wrong with a stay at Canopy by Hilton.

The hotel also features an artisanal breakfast with options to dine in or have some delivered to your room. Right next to the breakfast area, filled with comfy chairs and a library-style lounge, is the main lobby. From here you can do all of the “hotel” things you need to do, plus access the rooftop bar.
