Ballroom Bashes

Countdown to 2024 in grand style at the New Year’s Eve Ballroom Bashes held at the Amway Grand and JW Marriott Grand Rapids! From 8:00 PM on December 31, 2023, to 1:00 AM on January 1, 2024, these iconic venues will transform into ultimate party destinations. Experience live music, dazzling lights, and a vibrant atmosphere. At the Amway Grand, groove to the tunes of Hello Weekend, or head to Club J-DUB at the JW Marriott with DJ Kane spinning hits.

Overnight packages include parking, wristbands for the Ballroom Bashes, and a late checkout of 2 pm. Wristbands-only options are also available. Must be 21 or older to attend. NYE Evening Beer Tour

This Grand Rapids New Year’s Eve Beer Tour will take you to The Mitten Brewing Co., Creston Brewery, and Arvon Brewing Co. The Mitten Brewing Co. is located inside an old engine house and the Creston Brewery is a local brewery in the heart of the Creston neighborhood. Creston produces lagers and ales, and sometimes make unique beers such as smoked and tea infused ales. They use locally sourced ingredients such as hops, honey, coffee, and fruit. Arvon Brewing Co. strives to create unique, Michigan craft beer that beer enthusiasts can be proud to drink! During this event, you can try 12 large samples of beer, enjoy a private brewery tour, and use transportation to and from the breweries with a knowledgeable beer tour guide. Plus, there will be an opportunity for dinner at Creston Brewery, your second stop for the evening.

NYE Masquerade EXTRAVANGANZA

As the night goes on there will be a scavenger hunt until 11 pm. Later into the evening, you’ll enjoy the breathtaking view of fireworks from the rooftop as you ring in the New Year. Winter Wonderland: A Holiday Lights Spectacular runs from November 25th until December 30th and is fun for the whole family! It’s a unique experience unlike any other holiday light show. Grand Rapids Griffins Game

Grab the family and get ready for some hockey!  The Grand Rapids Griffins are taking on the Milwaukee Admirals at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve at Van Andel Arena.  Hockey has become a tradition for New Year’s Eve in Grand Rapids, dating back to 1996.  Make sure to stick around after the game to see fireworks right on the ice.  If you feel like taking a turn on the ice yourself, you’re in luck!  There will be an open skate after the game, so don’t forget your skates.  Book your tickets here and GO GRIFFINS!
