Sponsored by Lilly Cares

Spring Lake Sparkle is officially sponsored and managed by Lilly Cares, a nonprofit based in Spring Lake.  Joan Mack, Lilley Care Interim Executive Director, announced that the festival centers around three major components: music, lights, and Santa.

“Now that we are post-pandemic, we are excited to be able to pull our entire community together as never before for our holiday event,” Mack stated.

Epicurean Village & Santa’s House

The Epicurean Village (beautiful courtyard area located right off the main street) will be the center of festivities on Saturday, November 25, when Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at the courtyard at Epicurean Village at 5 p.m. A giant Christmas tree will be illuminated, along with many others—so don’t be afraid to wear your shades amongst all that twinkle!

Santa’s House is one of the newest and most exciting places to visit as part of the Spring Lake Sparkle! A new addition was made possible by Sherry Zuidema and Jimmy Karrip of Nest Builder Development and Resolve Realty, who built and donated Santa’s new digs. Zuidema was excited to be able to give something back to the community, as her family has been in Spring Lake since it was founded in the 1840s.

“I just knew that the Santa House was something we had to do for Spring Lake,” Zuidema shared.

The Santa House will be a major focal point during the November 26 kickoff but be sure to stop by again on Tuesday, November 29 at 5 p.m. for caroling led by the Jeffers and Holmes Elementary Honors Choirs—your eyes and ears will have a blast! For more information on upcoming events, contact Village Liaison Chase Loreto at (231) 750-1702 or email info@springlakesparkle.com or visit their facebook page.
