Pin Bookstores in Grand Rapids!

Books and Mortar
Our first stop on this venture is a self proclaimed progressive shop that’s tagline states: “A bookstore fighting for books”. Their mission? To empower communities, educate youth, and be a safe space for all to critically think and learn together. They invest time and money in community initiatives as well as their business! Books & Mortar is a great place to start because not only will you get a really unique arrangement of books, but you will also get to be part of that community investment. What a win-win situation!
Argos Comics & Used Book Shop
Argos Comics and Used Book Shop is second on our bookstores list not only because of their selection but their unique workshops and camps for kids! This month on July 15-19 from 1-4PM they are hosting a short story writing camp for kids, hosted by a local church and teacher. Come take a look – you might just find a vintage treasure or learn how to write a masterpiece of your own!
Spirit Dreams

Epilogue Books
Upon the river of Rockford, you’ll find an epic shop – Epilogue Books. They had a dream of melding a community with their love of books. Some of their involvement includes: Where’s Waldo, Start of Summer, Polar Express, Reading Rocks, fiction, nonfiction, and Sarah Maas book clubs, Developing Healthy Kids author support. – and those are just to name a few! The owners saw a need for Rockford’s own bookshop so when the opportunity came to open their own – voila! Epilogue was born.
