The heart of the food served here is local, organic, and handmade. Field and Fire is a bakery and cafe that offers an extensive menu and calming atmosphere. Enjoy a nice talk over some absolutely delectable treats. 

Chartreuse Sisters

This sister-owned French-American Fusion Pâtisserie Café just opened its doors and is seriously rocking it! Chartreuse Sisters offers a rotating menu that changes monthly. Enjoying some treats and drinks in a completely renovated historical building just tastes better! 

Grand Rapids Downtown Market

There’s sure to be something to satisfy everyone in the group’s taste buds at this hot spot. Have your pick of artisan cuisine, local grocery items, specialty products, and international food. There are also covered places to sit outside and an enjoyable upstairs where people relax with their food and good conversation. They also offer classes and events that may be fun to do with the girls!

Outside Coffee Co.

Outside Coffee Co. is a community-based coffee shop located in uptown Grand Rapids. They also offer monthly events to encourage people to get outside during every season. In the warm months, there are hammocks to relax in while sipping on your latte, and in the winter you and your friends can hang out in one of the domes. 

Scorpion Hearts Club

At Scorpion Hearts Club, previously known as Sparrows Coffee, there’s an atmosphere that you could chill in forever. Allow the coffee to bring you together as you enjoy the comfy space. Many local artists sell their work here, as well—which would be fun to peruse with the girls. 

Kava Kasa

Yeah, yeah, coffee is great and all, but have you heard of Kava? It’s a relaxing and euphoric drink that elevates the senses! It may be something fun to try on your girl’s weekend. Kava is a root from the South Pacific that offers amazing medicinal benefits from reducing stress to anxiety relief.
