Muskegon Powerboat Weekend

June 21-22, 2024 from 2PM-9PM

Muskegon’s Powerboat Weekend is an annual event where you can spend the entire weekend on Lake Michigan. Starting on Friday, June 21, at 2PM, the boats start to arrive for staging, and the party continues until Sunday, June 22nd. Activities include a powerboat showcase, “The Chase” poker run for charity, live bands, an auction, a celebration party, and more. Muskegon Clippers

Looking for a fun and affordable way to celebrate Father’s Day in West Michigan? Take your dad out to the ballgame at Marsh Field in Muskegon to watch the Muskegon Clippers take on the Michigan Monarchs! The game is scheduled for Sunday, June 16. Lakeshore Museum Historic Site Free Tours

Saturdays 10:00am – 4:00pm, Sundays 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Does your dad love to visit museums and learn about local history?  Fathers who reside in Muskegon County can receive access to the Historic Sites at the Lakeshore Museum Center in Muskegon on Father’s Day from 1-4 p.m.  Along your guided tour you will enjoy learning the history of the Hackley and Hume Historic Site, Scolnik House of the Depression Era, and the Fire Barn Museum.

Free Car Show at Crane’s Pie Pantry

June 16th 2024, from 1pm – 4pm

Do you know a dad who is also a car guy? …Does he also happen to love PIE, good wine and food? Luckily, we found just the thing for you! June 18th, from 1 pm – 5 pm, there will be a free Car Show with live music, games, and plenty of vintage cars to ogle at Crane’s Pie Pantry Restaurant & Winery.

With so many lakes around the West Michigan area, Father’s Day is a great time to get out on a boat and get your line wet or just get out on the water and enjoy a day on the lake.  We’ve rounded up some of the boat rentals in the area as well as some of the top fishing charters out on Lake Michigan if you are looking to have a guide and catch bigger fish.
